Today will begin a test of Love of family, future and commitments for Scotty. It will also begin a "growing" level of maturity; I hope. He landed in Florida at 10:30 this morning saying good-bye for now to his 1 yr. old son and girlfriend for the first time. His love of family is his driving force. His grandma is laying in the hospital with a balloon in her heart because of multiple heart attacks over the weekend (in 1 hospital) while his Mom underwent cancer surgery (in another hospital). He didn't have alot of time to get down there and we were left with selling heirloom possessions to get him there; for fear that his grandma would pass before we could do it any other way. She also has cancer of 1 lung and the other is collapsed. It does not look promising at this point. So with the strength of an Army I said my good-byes in hopes that he has just a little time left. God Bless Jaden for he knows not why Daddy will not be here for a while.
Here's keeping fingers crossed he gets to say his goodbyes to his G'ma and that is Mom is okay. Sending prayers.
