So the entertainment stand once again sports Mom's love of collecting Department 56 houses and such. "We" always try to set up a nice seasonal display. This year I was "to busy" with the darn kids and house crap to get to enjoy it but my Aunt set out and did a wonderful job!! It's really awesome! The houses are electric and have lightening with sound or witches and ghosts swirling around! She carefully plans every year adding "special" pieces to bring us all cheer!
Honestly though she needs a much bigger display area!! So many of her pieces have never made it out except to check them when they arrive!
Love this display! I have Elvis' Christmas mansion and one of the New England Village pieces. Unfortunately by budget does not allow collecting.
ReplyDeleteThanks Annette! Yep, Mom is always "broke" untill a house whe's been wanting pops up as available then bam! Home it comes and to the "basement"... :-( Can never figure her out other than she thinks I'll have plenty when she passes. :-(
